IKEA Yas Island store launches KIDZ ACTIVITY

IKEA Yas Island store has lined up fun-filled activities for kids from ages 3 to 10 starting December 19, 2011 to January 18, 2012. These activities are part of IKEA's celebration of the festive season.

The competitions kick off with a Drawing competition from Dec 19-Dec 28 (6 days: Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays). Story Writing will be held from Jan 2-Jan 11 2012 (6 days: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays) and the Treasure Hunt competition will be held from Jan 16-Jan 18, 2012. Activities, supervised and monitored by trained IKEA staff will be held from 3pm to 5pm at video area adjacent to Smaland. There will be one winner announced every week.

This is the first time such activities for children are being conducted by IKEA at the 33,000sqm IKEA Yas store which has become a focal point of attention among Yas Island attractions.

Smaland, the 190sqm magical play area, is located at the entrance of IKEA Yas where young children aged 3 to 10 can indulge themselves in fun activities that will keep them happily occupied for hours at a stretch. The magic forest theme ensures that while parents shop, children are transported to a whole new world of fantasy.
