Al-Futtaim Motors announces the arrival of 2012 Toyota Aurion to the UAE

Al-Futtaim Motors, exclusive distributors of Toyota in the UAE announced the arrival of the new, re-designed 2012 Aurion in the UAE.
The 2012 Aurion, like the rest of the Toyota sedan family, ushers a new 'ERA Concept', combining both 'Emotional' and 'Rational' appeals, all inspired by the new demands of the customers.

With a quieter ride, an even more spacious interior, enhanced fuel economy and advanced utility features, the new Aurion comes with a completely refreshed look.

The Aurion 2012 comes in two grades: Sports and Grande. The Aurion Grande, mostly popular among UAE nationals, is designed for all those who want a safe, spacious, reliable, and luxurious sedan that transports them with their families and friends with style and unmatched comfort. With leather trim, 7 inch touch navigation & DVD Player, Bi-Xenon lights with intelligent AFS and headlamp cleaner and 8 way memory seats for the driver, the Aurion Grande is synonymous with affordable luxury vehicle.

Refreshed and updated exterior with a sporty style
The three principles of vehicle character, rationality and aerodynamic performance have been combined into an active, sporty form to realize the prestigious appeal of the new Aurion' s exterior.
The 2012 Aurion features several changes to the exterior. The grille has been reworked into a thicker one with thin, long headlamps on either side emphasizing this change and adding an impression of width. An elevated hood adds thickness to the vehicle's front fascia, expressing a majestic and powerful presence. The side roofline and shoulder line have been given a forward-leaning wedge shape that expresses a sense of movement. The 17inch wheels come with detailed finish that give the impression of a wider diameter and provide a feeling of advanced luxury. The rear of the Aurion has also been redesigned, blending into the rear combination lamps for a greater emphasis on width, with the bumper corners protruding outwards, creating a wide stable feeling and a ground hugging stance. The front and rear corners of the bumpers have been changed to an 'aero-corner' design flattening the car's sides from front to rear in order to smooth the flow of air across the sides.

Luxurious and refined interior design
The interior of the Aurion has also been revamped, with an emphasis on luxury and quality, creating a unique personalized appearance. The cabin of the Aurion has been enlarged, with larger dimensions creating a more spacious interior. Vehicle package has been modified to maximize occupant room and make the cabin feel more spacious. The Aurion dashboard has an exclusive horizontal T-shaped design, which significantly enhances the feeling of prestige. A thicker meter hood gives a solid feel that adds a modern beauty to the interior. The 2012 Aurion will be available with the choice of a 6-speed sequential automatic transmission, coming with a 3.5L Engine and a maximum output of 268 HP, delivering top-class level fuel economy and a powerful driving experience. A newly adopted ECO meter allows the driver to recognize when he or she is driving in a fuel efficient and economical manner. VSC (Vehicle Stability Control) and TRC (Traction Control) technologies have also been equipped to support vehicle stability, along with HID (High Intensity Discharge Headlamps) for improved nighttime visibility.

Advanced utility features
The 2012 Aurion comes with new utility features such as a Parking Assist system, which alerts the driver when approaching obstacles in blind spots. The Aurion also has a new audio system with a 6.1-inch display for the Sport and a 7-inch display for the Grande, a USB/AUX Terminal for external audio devices, advanced Bluetooth communication compatibility, keyless entry, dual-zone air conditioning, and a back window power sunshade.

The 2012 Aurion comes in nine exterior colors, five of which are new: Attitude Black, Gray, Red, Bronze and Blue and is available across all Al-Futtaim Motors showroom at AED 115,000 for the Sports model and AED 125,000 for the Grande.
